While we can’t put together a musical playlist of our year… we can showcase some of the outstanding results achieved for our clients across our operations.
Despite local and global disasters and events – 2022 was our most successful year ever on record.
Through our hardworking staff and ongoing support from our wonderful clients, we have continued to grow and expand our services.
We expanded our team, upgraded our production machines, introduced new products, expanded our capabilities and streamlined our processes.
We are off to a roaring start in 2023 and can’t wait to work with you this year for all your print, design, digital and marketing outcomes.
Now, onto a small sample of some of the exceptional work we delivered in 2022.
1. Menus
With paper menus making their return (who doesn’t love holding in their hands, a beautifully designed and printed menu?!) we’ve never been busier.
We worked with a brand new boutique hotel launched in 2022, with the design and print of a range of items, including these custom engraved and printed leather look menu covers.
Made from waterproof high quality pleather, and finely engraved, these menu covers offer a sophisticated and inviting first impression.
Inside, an A5 sized booklet tucks neatly into the cover, meaning the internal pages can easily be re-printed and inserted at any time.
Another option for an incredible first impression with re-usable covers are these foiled A5 menus.
These menus are custom produced casebound with buckram (a tactile cotton material) with pocket sleeves for insertion, all beautifully finished with a sliver foil embellishment.
We printed the internal menus as a saddle stitched booklet with matt cello, to allow for insertion into the covers.
2. Books
A mainstay of our product line is our exceptional booklet production capabilities.
Saddle stitched books continue to be an affordable and popular item due to their versatility and reduced cost compared to perfect binding.
We have a number of standard sizing options available for quick turnaround times as well as custom size and embellished books.

I ordered 40 books through them, and right from the get-go they were honest and fast in all their communications, making sure I got the best value for money. I’ve been printing small runs of books through another company for over a year and a half now, but after the incredibly positive and FAST experience I received with Rogue, I never want to return to the other company.

3. Packaging
We produced some exceptional packaging solutions in 2022 for a broad range of applications.
Product packaging, food containers, belly bands, cosmetic boxes and much more.
We can work with you to design, engineer and prototype your die cut to quantities 100 to 500,000 and more depending on size/finish!
I received the boxes on Friday as expected, and wow I’m so impressed.
They were even better than I imagined. The colour, the finish and the quality are excellent. Everything was perfect and that’s a huge credit to yourself and your team.
Your knowledge and expertise has been second to none for me who initially had no clue about packaging all those months ago when I first reached out to you. Thank you for bringing my vision to life.

4. Exhibition Booths
After a few tough years, conferences and events are finally coming back!
We are proud to be producing more media walls, banners, posters, conference stands, podiums and exhibition builds than ever.
We worked with our clients during 2022 to design and print a number of custom builds, including these two open floor stands.
The outcomes were so stunning, both clients saved thousands by not needing flooring!
Both are produced as tension fabric prints, which is a cost effective and durable material. The print holds together with framework that can be taken apart and packed away in carry bags.
This custom build was for a space of 6Mx3M with a very specific brief and tight turnaround time.
The client wanted to have a professional, striking and memorable stand, and also be able to re-use the existing framework for their next few years of events (they simply just request a new design and ‘skin’ once it is needed – no need to buy new frames).
This particular booth needed to be split between their various sub-brands, for various configurations.
Our design team worked their magic, coming up with a layout that enables the booth to work for a large space (double sided), 3X3 and smaller spaces.
Our team even helped the client to assemble the booth on site at their conference – another example of us going above and beyond to ensure our clients are delighted with the outcome.
This custom build is for another client enjoying the cost savings and flexibility of re-using their framework from a previous conference!
In 2019 we produced a 4Mx3M custom build, so for 2022, the brief required adapting the existing framework to fit a new space of 6Mx4M (‘diamond shape’).
We designed all the visuals according to the client’s brief (including adapting illustrations and other brand assets) and suggested furniture and fittings from the hire supplier to complement the stand.

6M curved back wall, front banners, display cabinets (we printed the removable stickers), podium and spotlights.
5. Signage
With so many signage design, print and install jobs in 2022, it was hard to pick just a few (indeed, it was hard to do this entire list, so many fantastic clients and jobs in 2022!).
Below are two different signage install jobs for different industries, where we have had to work to customized spaces and client requirements.
This facility is a brand new build requiring fascia/feature signage and wayfinding throughout the site.
Our team produced and supplied the shop drawings, printing and installation of the new signage.
Included in the works was 2x custom Blac text halo illuminated logo building signs, and 11x flange/corner signs, with vinyl sticker printed on powdercoated Electro Bronze aluminium.
This restaurant updated their window graphics, totalling 15 individual printed, cut and installed pieces.
Our installers removed all existing vinyl graphics, and carefully applied the new vinyl to all required areas.
The window graphic stock is a high quality white PVC vinyl with a gloss over-laminate for further protection from the elements.
6. Websites and SEO
Our website and digital marketing branch Rogue Web Design developed another half dozen websites in 2022, from 10 page to 300 page ecommerce solutions.
We also worked with select clients to achieve excellent SEO results – none more so than…ourselves!
2022 was the 4th year we haven’t spent a cent on online advertising, with the majority of our online sales generated through solid SEO strategy, content, design and technical optimization.
For the last 3 years, and continuing to this day, the site averages traffic that would normally cost $10,000 – $21,000 a month in Google Ads.
That’s nearly $250K a year of advertising spent saved, that we can better invest in our print production and digital marketing capabilities, to ultimately benefit more clients.

7. Custom Projects
Sometimes a project requires a custom solution, perhaps multiple elements are required, or an entire brewery needs fit out assistance…either way, we were (and remain!) ready to assist!
Bringing a business idea to life, our client approached us in a previous year to start the journey of producing custom wedding planners.
We have been delighted to continue working with them in 2022, as their business rapidly grew and required new versions of the planner, as well as a perfect bound book range.
The specs of the pictured products: A5 350gsm gloss covers with matt cello, internal custom tab dividers on 350gsm gloss with matt cello, a customized order of pages with and without colour printing, finished with a black spiral coil.
We have been using Rogue for our Planners and Magazines for 3 years now and their service from start to finish is matched only by the quality of the products.
We are so happy with the work done by Paul, Chris and the team and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
Also, the Australian planners have just arrived and WOW! So great!
SOPHIE PEKIN
An international brand worked with us for a range of design, print and signage for their new location.
Situated in inner city Brisbane and spawning three levels of a refurbished industrial building, we assisted with various important touchpoints.
Firstly, we produced custom longsheet gatefolded menus printed on specialty Conqueror Wove Cream stock.
We provided a number of custom sized stretched canvas prints to complement the interior décor, along with several large acrylic process signs.
For the external walls, we produced custom engraved brushed gold acrylic signs.
On the taps, vinyl custom cut decal lettering.
Overall a fantastic project to see out 2022!
