The Suburban Shopfront Improvement Grant program provides up to $5000 (excluding GST) to property owners or tenants of shopfronts to assist in bringing a fresh new look to their shop’s façade via new and creative signage.
Key eligibility
To be eligible to apply, businesses must:
- Operate outside the Brisbane CBD
- Be in a local shopping precinct
- On the ground level
- Street facing – people enter off the street
- Be a small business – less than 20 staff
- Have display windows
- Open and trading to the public
How much can I apply for?
Grants are available to cover up to 50% of the cost of visual improvements to a shopfront exterior, to a maximum of $5000 (excluding GST). The balance of the cost (50% or more) of the shopfront improvements must be met by the Applicant.
