Rogue continues sponsorship of the biggest Improv comedy event of the year!
The Brisbane Improv Festival returns 23 – 27 July 2024 at Big Fork Theatre, with five days and nights of shows and workshops from across Australia and New Zealand celebrating all things improvised.
We’ve continued our annual sponsorship of the event, providing a range of materials including posters, flyers and door passes.
Learn more about the festival and our contribution, from Liz Talbot @ Big Fork Theatre:
“There’s something about having bright, colourful posters and workshop programs adorning our theatre walls that brings our Brisbane Improv Festival to life each year, and dials up the energy levels—even at an already vibrant comedy venue. Having promo assets professionally printed elevates our Festival from community gathering to full-blown community event, and we are so grateful to Rogue for taking our event and amplifying its reach.

This support allows not-for-profits like Big Fork Theatre to spread the word about events that bring about so much laughter and good times.

This year’s Festival continues the tradition of mixing local favourites with international and interstate mates, across genres as broad as epic adventure, musical improv, talent shows with a twist, and classic comedy cage matches.
For comedy lovers keen on a casual laugh and a cold drink in a warm theatre, three shows a night are on offer across the Festival’s five nights. Seeing a show is as easy as reviewing the Brisbane Improv Festival Program like a comedy menu at https://www.bigforktheatre.com/bif-shows, clicking through to book your ticket online (limited door tickets also available), and arriving at our Fortitude Valley venue in time to enjoy a cold drink in our foyer bar before the show.
If you want to dive deeper into improv, there are plenty of workshops on offer across the five days—all with extra special and highly regarded instructors visiting from across Australia and New Zealand. The full workshop offering is at https://www.bigforktheatre.com/bif-workshops.
We encourage comedy lovers to book their tickets in advance, because Brisbane Improv Festival shows often sell out. Audience members at earlier shows often immediately want more, and will purchase tickets for the later show, making for an incredibly fun evening.”
