Big Fork Theatre is proud to announce the return of Rogue Create and Print as a Gold level sponsor of the Big Fork Comedy Festival in 2025. This marks the third consecutive year of sponsorship from Rogue, and Brisbane comedy audiences are all the happier for it.

The Big Fork Comedy Festival 2025, running from 18–26 July, celebrates ten years of Big Fork Theatre and has grown from its roots in improv to include stand-up, sketch, and MC-led comedy.

This year’s program features over 25 live performances, 24 workshops, and a special Gala event at Brisbane Powerhouse.

About Big Fork Theatre

Big Fork Theatre is a welcoming Brisbane improv and comedy institution focused on building a community, creating and supporting quality comedy, and running Brisbane’s biggest and best improv training centre. The theatre is led by five Directors – Cameron Watson, Rosa Sottile, Christopher Martin, Mark Grimes and Janette McBride.

Since 2015, Big Fork Theatre has established a cult following in Brisbane, with sell-out runs at the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Anywhere Festival, Melt, BrisAsia Festival and many more. After outgrowing Big Fork’s original venue which housed packed-to-the-rafters twice-weekly shows in Paddington from 2017 to 2021, Big Fork Theatre established its own venue in Fortitude Valley to give home-grown Brisbane comedy a permanent home.

Ten years ago, Big Fork Theatre set out to support collaborative, ensemble based improvised and sketch comedy, and that commitment to local comedy is still in place today.
