Well we didn’t expect 2021 to start like it has, with national and international events already shaping what could be another turbulent year.
Indeed it was a very different kind of weekend for Brisbane folk last weekend.
Many for the first time were required to wear face masks – including while in a private car, which triggered a keyboard warrior frenzy, all while those in southern states slowly shook their heads.
The 2021 story seems to continue where 2020 left off – we aren’t getting out of the pandemic anytime soon. In fact, a leading infectious disease expert has warned Australians will be facing coronavirus restrictions heading into 2022 despite the rollout of a vaccine.
In addition, the World Health Organisation warned herd immunity is not likely to happen in 2021. – this is despite vaccine rollouts across many nations.
So, given so much is out of our control, what does this mean as a business owner?
One of the easiest, most cost effective measures to protect and prevent infection, is mask wearing.
If your staff interact with clients or your office set up cannot allow for 4sqm distance, then in many cases, masks are mandatory. Sure, you can buy cheap re-useable masks however a far more environmentally friendly option is washable, re-useable fabric masks.
And these masks aren’t just for staff. Many of our clients produce these as a fantastic merchandise item for their customers – a branding opportunity and importantly, showing your customers you care for their well being.
We produce fabric face masks in 4 sizes with any design/colour/logo from quantities as small as 10.
